Book Review: My Vampire Plus-One by Jenna Levine

Its been a while since I've posted a book review. Grad school has been keeping me booked and busy. I finally found some time this week to pick up a book I've been wanting to read since it came out this year. I hope you enjoy the review.

This was the first book from Jenna Levine that I picked up, and I really enjoyed reading it. The plot was unique and funny, and the characters were super lovable and original as well. The romance in this book is very cute and sweet, and the spice level is very low. There is only a couple of scenes that would be considered spicy. The tropes in this book are fake dating and a sort of reverse grumpy and sunshine.

I really enjoyed getting to know the characters in this book. I loved that it was the guy who was the goofy weird one in this book. I haven't read many books where the guy is the one who is the weird eclectic one, and this was a breath of fresh air. The girl is the "grumpy" one in this, and it was really cute watching someone care for her and love her. I definitely will be reading this again next year around halloween for a cute "spooky" vampire romance.
