Exploring Campus Activities

     This past week was a super fun week! Because my coding intensive ended, I had way more free time this week and got to explore some of the events and clubs on campus. The first event I went to was on Wednesday at the Art exchange on campus, where I got to learn how to make a hanging plant basket and I got to take home my very own spider plant! This class was super fun, and I got to make lots of new friends as well as having a good time with my friend who went with me. The class was slated for two hours, but we only stayed around an hour because we were done with our baskets. I thought that the baskets would be super hard to make, but they were so easy to make. I am already looking forward to making more when I go home for the holiday break.

 The second thing I did this week was go to the social archery session hosted by the archery club on campus. I had a ton of fun and am booked to go back this week. I already know how to shoot archery, so I didn't need that much help, but the club members who were running the event were so nice and super helpful. They taught a bunch of people and everyone really enjoyed themselves. The club provided everything that you need to shoot, which is super nice. You don't have to bring anything, you just have to show up. They provided the basic safety equipment of arm and finger protection. They had both left and right handed bows so everyone can shoot. I had fun getting to know people, and getting back into the hang of archery. Like I mentioned before, I had so much fun that I have already signed up for the Thursday social session this week. I am even thinking about joining the club so I can come to the club social sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

I had so much fin this week exploring the clubs and events held on campus and can't wait for more to come. I am super excited about the upcoming book club that is going to be hosted by the student union. I am also looking forward to taking more art classes in the art exchange.
